Healthy teeth can help produce a healthy life.
That was the message delivered by a visiting dentist during a school-wide assembly at the John F. Kennedy Primary School on Friday, March 6.
The JFK School Nurse, Marcie Varona, explained the program to promote proper hygiene.
“In recognition of National Children’s Dental Health Month, JFK was so thankful that Dr. Robert Peterman from Somerset Orthodontics in Somerville was able to join us to continue to promote good oral hygiene to our students,” Ms. Varona said.
Ms. Varona added:
“Good dental health habits help children to get a jump start on a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums, which is deeply connected to overall physical health.”
