For the second year in a row, the American Heart Association presented an assembly called the Kids Heart Challenge, where students across the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District are empowered to learn hands-only CPR.
Kate Farina, a representative for the American Heart Association, presented this assembly to the John F. Kennedy Primary School on Friday, February 27.
She has collaborated with the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District for two years to provide this information to our students, while working with our District Wellness Committee on their annual Wellness Week kick-off.
Students left the assembly with the empowering message that we are all lifesavers and taking care of ourselves is of the utmost importance.
Remember, "We can all save a life!"
