Digital Safety Image

Hillside and Eisenhower schools are joining together to help parents & caregivers navigate the opportunities and challenges of today’s digital world for our children. On Thursday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m., all Grade 4 and Grade 5 parents are invited to Eisenhower School for a special parent presentation featuring Lieutenant Tom Rich, a nationally recognized speaker with more than 30 years of New Jersey law enforcement experience and a former D.A.R.E. teacher.

Lt. Rich will share practical guidance to help parents support their children in making thoughtful and responsible choices online. The evening will build on the student assemblies taking place at Eisenhower on October 21 and 22, with a focus on digital literacy, texting and group chats, digital footprints, healthy relationships, social media, phones, and AI.

Parents will leave with strategies, conversation starters, and resources they can use at home to help their children navigate the digital world with confidence and care.
