Dear Parents & Guardians,
We are looking forward to seeing you at our Back-to-School Nights and welcoming you into our classrooms. These evenings are a wonderful opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, learn more about the year ahead, and begin building the strong home-school partnership that helps our students thrive.
Our Back-to-School Nights will be held on the following dates:
Grade 4 – Tuesday, September 22
Grade 5 - Wednesday, September 23
The evening will begin at 6:00 PM with our Related Arts Teachers’ Fair in the Gym. During this time, you will have an opportunity to meet many of your child’s related arts teachers and grade-level intervention specialists. Our Speech Teacher, School Counselor, and Child Study Team members will be available in the gym as well, and we encourage you to stop by the PTO table in the lobby.
Back-to-School Night is designed to provide an overview of the curriculum, classroom routines, and expectations for the year. While it is not intended for individual conferences, we are always happy to arrange a separate time to discuss your child’s specific needs or progress.
Please see the schedules below:
6:00 - 6:30 | Related Arts Teachers (Art, Library, Music, Spanish, Technology), Health & PE Teachers, ESL, Intervention Specialists, Small Group Investigation (SGI) Teachers, School Counselor, Related Service Providers, and Child Study Team Members will be available in the gym |
6:30 - 6:45 | Principal’s video message and homeroom teacher presentation in your child’s homeroom classroom |
6:45 - 7:30 | Teacher presentations for ELA, Social Studies, Math and Science (room numbers and schedules will be provided by your child’s homeroom teacher) |
It is important for you to know your child’s homeroom teacher/classroom number. You will receive a copy of your child’s modified schedule to follow in your child’s homeroom.
