The Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District Board of Education received an update on the district's security team at its meeting on Tuesday, January 20.
Superintendent Robert Beers, joined by Mike Voorhees, Coordinator of District Security, and Ted Lewis, Assistant Coordinator of District Security, presented on the team's evolution, including strategic recruitment efforts, clearly defined responsibilities, and enhanced communication protocols.
Since the security team's implementation, the district has experienced a dramatic decrease in serious disciplinary matters, demonstrating the positive impact of this investment in school safety and climate.
