The winter concert season came to an end with a spectacular performance produced by the Hillside Intermediate School’s 6th Grade Orchestra and Band students.
Both during a school-wide assembly and later that day, on Thursday, December 18, during the concert held before family and friends, the Hillside 6th Grade musicians delivered a fantastic closing show.
Hillside’s Orchestra Directors, Tom Lewis and Tom Waggner, hailed the efforts at the concerts.
“The Chamber Orchestra took on some challenging pieces to prepare for the winter concert. They really pulled it together and gave a great performance for the school and their families,” Mr. Lewis said.
“The Orchestra had two fantastic performances, both at an assembly for their peers and at their evening concert,” Mr. Waggner revealed. “The students have shown incredible growth so far this year and I am immensely proud of them. I can't wait to see what we can achieve in the Spring."
