Two individuals and two relay teams from the Bridgewater-Raritan High School boys’ track and field team qualified for the state Meet of Champions.
The Meet of Champions will be held on Wednesday, June 3, at Pennsauken High School.
The following Bridgewater-Raritan athletes qualified for the Meet of Champions after placing at the state Group 4 meet, held Friday, May 29, and Saturday, May 30, at Franklin High School.
The 4 X 100 team of Max Pasewaldt, Kenney Graham, Jishnu Kalaivan, and Justin Reid lowered their own school record to 42.88 and placed ninth. All four are juniors.
Junior Jordan Estomata placed seventh in the discus with a throw of 149-3, and he finished eighth in the shot put. with a throw of 50-1.
Junior Drew Ciccotelli(finished sixth in the pole vault with a jump of 13-0.
The 4 X 400 team of Pasewaldt, sophomore Jeremiah Wiley, Reid, and Graham placed third in a time of 3:22.81.
