Before they will receive their diplomas, students in the Class of 2025 were the recipients of scholarships for their achievements at Bridgewater-Raritan High School.
These accomplished seniors were highlighted under the bright lights in the Bridgewater-Raritan High School auditorium on the evening of Wednesday, June 4.
The celebration was the Senior Awards Night Ceremony, Bridgewater-Raritan High School’s annual tradition to honor particular graduating students with scholarships.
Family, friends, high school officials and staff, as well as representatives from various high school departments, clubs and programs and local organizations, gathered to pay tribute to the seniors whose scholastic careers will come to a close on June 19, the date of the 2025 Commencement Exercise at Rutgers University.
The main hosts for this elite ceremony were Bridgewater-Raritan High School Principal Dan Hemberger and Alan Iachini, the Supervisor of School Counseling.
Also participating in the presentations were the high school’s Assistant Principals, Priscilla Aniegbuna, Tracee Cobbs, Adam Leaman and Damian Storey, and high school and school district staff and other invited donors.
The Counseling department’s dedicated Administrative Assistant, Paula Clark, was also a major contributor to the evening festivities.
Principal Hemberger cherishes this annual award event that caps the school year.
“Senior Awards Night is often the most rewarding evening of the year. It's a signature event for our community and the culmination of four years of achievement for our students. It was, once again, a joyous occasion,” Principal Hemberger said.
He concluded:
“Lots of smiles!”
